Holy cow it has been a while!

This is so awesome!

(I don't know why I get final boss vibes from this)

Right away, the pizzicato at the beginning sets the song off on a bit of a mysterious path. I love how the song is laid out in very distinct sections. I would not necessarily say that the song has a slow build-up, but I would say that the song builds tension over an elongated period of time (or that is how I see it).

Overall, the transitions are fantastic (even though the actual transitions happen later in the song). The section at 2:01 caught me by surprise a little bit, and it is also my favorite part.

Keep up the great work and I hope do another review sometime!

Thank you so much for your kind words, JordanKyser! It seems you interpreted this song exactly the way I had hoped for. I'm always learning and reviews like yours continue to make me a better composer. Cheers!

I don't listen to synthwave that much, but I must say this is a very catchy tune!

Siberg responds:

ty friend. this tune also has some inspiration from Carpenter Brut so check him out i guess. :)

Sounds wonderful!

I'd say, this is quite amazing!

Also, a big congrats for the frontpage feature! :D

Vortonox responds:

Thank u so much!!!

Overall, this is quite the work of art! It is very short, but I think it is alright (it could be longer).
I love the drums in the latter half of this tune. They really give this song the calm vibe it brings throughout the whole 55-56 seconds.
I love the chord progression you used. It is very unique.
Also, this is a midi? Sure sounds like a natural piece. (You should feel grateful!)

Sounds great :D

I don't have much against this. So glad you decided to come back! :D

Anyways, the only thing I would point out is the lack of subbass, so bring it out in your future projects. Note: Do NOT let it overpower the rest of the song. Just put the subbass to where it gives the song more emotion.

I would soften the arps a little bit, and make the chords a bit louder.

Anyways, that is all I have to say. Everything else is fine in my opinion.

Jeemboo1216 responds:

Thanks, never realized that the chords weren't that much heard. Glad you liked it!
