Quite an interesting song you made
"Audio.exe" is quite fitting as an alternative name :P

Me cool music Stopstep soon....

I like how this track has a little bit of a near-dichotomous tone to it. The drops are quite manic and heavy while the rest of the song brings a more majestic and mysterious tone.

HOLY! This sure is one awesome song you made!

There is a lot of stuff going on, and they all go together so well. Also, 10 MINUTES!?! Despite the song being 10 minutes long, it sure does not feel like 10 minutes (feels more like 6 or 7). The transitions are perfect, especially the ones across the time signatures changes. On top of all that, I love the changes in the dynamic (helps portray the song in the form of a story, as you mentioned the song is meant to tell a story).

Oh hey, LMMS! I also use that! :D
Also, I might also try Tunefish4 myself. This is so catchy despite only being less than 20 seconds. :)

It's catchy since it's a generic progression, lol

That is one hard beat!

I see a lot of potential here! :)

Overview: I must say, this is quite a song. Also, dang... This over 10 minutes long! Not to worry about that much, since you somehow managed to keep the variations up. I love the synthwave-like atmosphere in the whole song. It's a nice touch. It sounds like something straight from a video game OST (although, I don't know an OST that is 10 minutes long). I love how each section changes a lot of things but keeps some things in (such as the pads). It's nice to have a lot of variation and repetition at the same time.

Section 1 (0:00-1:47) - That's a nice introduction to start the song. It has a nice and pleasant atmosphere, sort of like an origin story to some adventure game. The drums are nice, not much else to say there.

Section 2 (1:47-3:19) - Oh, okay. This seems to be the first break. The chord progression doesn't seem to change much at first (I don't think it changed from the first section. Although, it's not a problem with the variation. I like the new addition of the bass. The atmosphere seems to have changed to a more curious environment.

Section 3 (3:19-5:22) - Another break to begin another section, although this sounds a lot darker with the addition of the piano. I like the combination of dark and warm synths like play throughout the first part of this section. The combination seems to bring out this dichotomous environment. I like the part at 4:21 where the song goes complete "Boss Mode". It's a very sudden transition, but it's not so much in your face (shouldn't matter if it should be or not in this situation). The returning warm synths and additions are nice.

Section 4 (5:22-6:54) - Oh, this sounds like your normal house build-up (although I don't think going full-on house is appropriate for this song, but you didn't do that thankfully). Wait... oh, I love the half-time feel after the build-up. This section is nice and short. Although, with it being your "big break" section, I think it fits nicely. Oh yeah, the drums fit perfectly for this section (mainly as it brings back the dichotomy).

Section 5 (6:54-8:28) - Let's see... oh, there's a synth that sounds like its screeching a little bit. I'm not against it, but it fits the background. Nice how you did 7:21 to 7:27, a fake ending. It's like "he's down! oh wait... and he's back up again!" The repeat of the "Boss Mode" section is quite nice and very interesting with the new synth additions. It sounds like the theme that plays for the second-to-last boss in a game. You would think that this section as a whole would be the same length as Section 3, but it's shorter (which is appropriate since it acts like the boss's return with no preparation).

Overall: Repetition and variation are both very high, which is something I don't usually see in songs longer than 7 or 8 minutes (even my own 7+ minute songs don't have a lot of both simultaneously... I just do a completely different section sometimes and go from there). Not going to say much else. Oh yeah, the mix is amazing! I'll just say that.

I hope to hear the other 7 Deadly Sins songs you make, this one fits for the theme of pride. :)

Love the Touhou vibe! I would love to hear more of this!

This song is very dramatic and it holds its energy very well throughout the song, especially after the break in the middle. My favorite part is the big section at 3:21 to the end.

For some reason, I like this version more than the original version (it may the energy it has at the second half of the song), but they are both very great.

The vocals are well-mixed (nothing much else to say about the vocals). The build-up is not like most that I have heard (not just for dubstep, but for any electronic music genre for that matter). The first drop is quite interesting, as I am more used to the usual "half time" feel instead of the groove you used. The second and third segments of the first drop are quite interesting (changes a lot, while transitioning quite well). The final part of the first drop feels with the soft section that follows. The second build-up feels more normal, but still has the same characteristics as the first build-up (nothing wrong with that at all). Can't say much about the second drop as it is not too much different from the first drop, but I can hear the differences (more notably the transition between the second and third segments). Overall, this seems like an interesting take on dubstep. Instead of using the normal groove for the drops, you went for a more "hands up" type of groove (but faster).

In my opinion, there should be more dubstep songs like this. Brings more variety to dubstep in general.

I am a musician who does early-2000s style EDM, orchestral music, and melodic dubstep. My main themes are space, darkness, and (uncommonly) emotions.
